Telehealth
For some illnesses you can talk with a doctor online after-hours, without leaving home.
They can send prescriptions (if required) to a pharmacy that you choose.
Practice Plus is a online doctor service, available weekdays 5PM-10PM and weekends/public holidays 8AM-8PM.

heavy bleeding
broken bones
bad burns
chest pain
severe pain
difficulty breathing
The Emergency Department at any hospital should be used in an emergency for critical or life-threatening situations.
If you cannot travel to the Emergency Department yourself, you should dial 111 and ask for an “ambulance”.
